Overview

Aim of the competition was the creation of a residence complex with recognizable identity and refreshing character that would constitute an attractive version of alternative residence in the center of Athens. The main focus had to do with the conflation of functionality, character and aesthetics, economy in construction and maintenance, community and privacy. The 102 submitted proposals were presented at an exhibition in the Benaki Museum, as well as in a special edition.
