Description
This plant has a large warehouse area in the basement and the main knitting space on the ground floor, where the offices, entrance and service areas are also situated.
The main design problem was the irregular shape of the site. It was decided to keep the main industrial area square, as a pure volume, and attach the auxiliary spaces as independent cubes, wherever the site permitted.
The structure of the building is of prestressed concrete, left exposed; walls are of cement block, doors and windows of steel.
