GREEK ARCHITECTURE AWARDS 2010

Overview

Ιn 'GREEK ARCHITECTURE AWARDS 2010' seventeen built works were shortlisted. Of these projects four are the first buildings of young architects, thirteen are residential buildings, and two are involved with childhood, without being schools. There were no submissions of school designs, and only one of a hospital design, a telling fact that reflects the cur­rent widespread lack of architectural ambition, and the diffidence of architects active in those sectors. Α further two important projects have been included, an office building and a cultural facility, both the result of private initiative.
